走 : go, run,
己 : begin, The kanji which '' 巳 '' transformed. ( It express a sound called '' shi ''. The sound changed from '' shi '' into '' ki '' later. )

go down, take down, falls, withdraw, lower the value, be defeated by an enemy and follow it

「阝」+「right part」
阝 : hill
right part : go down to the bottom
go down ( the hill )

降下 [ko u - ka] : descent
降参 [ko u - sa n] : surrender
降水量 [ko u - su i - ryo u] : precipitation
