go down, take down, falls, withdraw, lower the value, be defeated by an enemy and follow it

< ORIGIN >
「阝」+「right part」
阝 : hill
right part : go down to the bottom
go down ( the hill )

< USE >
降下 [ko u - ka] : descent
降参 [ko u - sa n] : surrender
降水量 [ko u - su i - ryo u] : precipitation

example) 日本の一部の地域では冬になると、雪が降ります。 [ ni - ho n - no - i chi - bu - no - chi - i ki - de wa - fu yu - ni na ru to, yu ki - ga - fu - ri ma su. ] When it is winter in some Japanese areas, it snows.
