< READING >
The japanese reading : hi ta i
The sound reading : ga ku

< MEANING >
brow, sum, frame, amount

< ORIGIN >
「客」+ 「頁」
客 : hit the hard thing and stop
頁 : hed
The particularly hard part of the head.

< USE >
高額 [ko u - ga ku] : high price
定額 [te i - ga ku] : fixed amount
額面 [ga ku - me n] : face value

example) 私は子供が描いた絵を額縁に入れて飾ります。 [ wa ta si - wa - ko - do mo - ga - ka - i ta - e - wo - ga ku - bu chi - ni - i - re te - ka za - ri ma su. ] I put the picture which my child drew in a frame and display it.
