< MEANING >
take, get, tighten a finger and grasp it in a hand, catch and do not let go, obtain, assume, marry

< ORIGIN >
「耳」+「又」
耳 : ear
又 : hand
The state that a soldier hold the ear of a captive and the enemy in a hand well as a token of meritorious services in war.
The state that a person tighten the muscle of the arm, and do not let go of a thing.

< USE >
採取 [sa i - shu] : collection
取得 [shu - to ku] : acquisition
取材 [shu - za i] : coverage
