< READING >
The japanese reading : no do
The sound reading : ko u, gu

< MEANING >
throat

< ORIGIN >
「口」+「侯」
「口」: mouth, hole
「侯」: There are not the direct relations with the throat. A kanji of the same reading of called "ko u".

< USE >
咽喉痛 [i n - ko u - tsu u] : sore throat
喉元 [no do - mo to] : throat

example) 私は喉が痛いです。[wa ta si - wa - no do - ga - i ta - i de - su] I have a sore throat.

but,
''侯'' does not have the direct relations with the throat.
