ice, be frozen, transparent and clean, cold, easy to melt

< ORIGIN >
A simplified form of "冰".
「冫」+「水」
冫 : be frozen, ( The hieroglyphic formation of the crack of the ice. )
水 : water

< USE >
流氷 [ryu u - hyo u] : Drift ice
氷雨 [hi - sa me] : Cold autumn rain
氷菓 [hyo u - ka] : sherbet
氷結 [hyo u - ke tsu] : freezing

example) 私は氷なしの飲み物を注文します。 [ wa ta si - wa - ko o ri - na si no - no - mi - mo no - wo - chu u - mo n - si ma su. ] I order drink without the ice.
